Henley is 8 weeks old

Henley Allison Cody, the love of my life :) is 8 weeks old. WOW how time flies!!!! She is doing great, sleeping through the night, starting to grap at toys that are hanging in front of her and doing well on starting to hold her head up at longer intervals at time. She is doing great at school while mommy and daddy are at work and apparently she loves looking at herself in the mirror :)

Henley met her new best friend Hayden and it is amazing how 7 weeks different in age can be so dramatic at this time in their lives.

Henley had her first St. Patricks Day as well!!!! She looked cute in her outfit :)
Mommy and daddy are doing great!!!! Just working hard and spending as much time with our little girl. Racing season is starting and Ryan is getting ready to start racing again and trying to have a good year, after getting a lot of practice last year.

1st Blog

Our baby girl, Henley Allison Cody, is now 7 weeks old. Hard to believe 7 weeks ago I was giving birth to her. She is now 10lbs 1 ounce (7lbs 15 ounces at birth). She went for her 2 months shots at 6 weeks old and mom about teared up because baby girl was so upset. Henley had real tears!!!! :( Afterwards though she did well and Cami (my mom) took us shopping. Henley is sleeping well and gets up about 1 time during the night, though I am not bragging on her because when I do she decides to get up more often LOL silly girl

I started back to work, which has been going very well. Henley goes to work with me and goes to the learning center that St. Francis has for it's employees children. She does great there and I get to go see her at lunch and play with her, which is a life saver and helps me keep my sanity :)

My best friend, Meghan, just had her baby boy, Hayden, yesterday (3/11/2011) so I can't wait for them to get older and have play dates!!!!

Ryan is so good with his daughter and gets up most nights with her so mommy can sleep :) Murphy (our dog) loves to lay by her and always smells her car seat and gives her kisses when we bring Henley inside. Abby (our cat) loves to lay with Ryan and I when we are holding Henley.

Life can't get much more perfect than this. Our family of 2 is now a family of 3 and I could not ask for a better husband and father to our perfect and precious gift from God

I am going to try and post as often as possible to keep updates about how Henley is growing and what is going on in our lifes.
